Mistaken identities
Sometimes when I travel, people find it difficult to guess what ethnicity I am. In Morocco they often feel free to shout out their guesses as I walk by. Some of my favorites thus far: - “India Pakistan!” This is often followed by “sisters?” indicating Shonali and myself. In Marrakech they were more likely to guess India, because apparently they really love Bollywood films....

Marrakech is 110 degrees today
